Her Heart
Her Heart is the first playable character in The Void Rains Upon Her Heart, and serves as the game's titular main protagonist.
Appearance
Outside of battle, Her Heart is a Zaraden with pale pink skin and short, dark pink hair. Her ears are long and pointed, poking out of her hair on either side of her head and curling slightly backwards, and there are a pair of vestigial wings in the center of her back. Her eyes appear dark and almost insectoid, as with other Zaraden. Alter Heart is nearly identical in appearance, but with cooler colors and covered in paint.
In battle, she appears as a plain red heart with a colored gem in the center. Alter Heart is the same, except for being covered in paint.
Personality
Her Heart is very empathetic and passionate, always wearing her emotions on her sleeve. She is also very determined, not letting even the most hopeless situation stop her.

Strategy
Her Heart is, mechanically, the simplest of the playable characters, with no special gimmicks. Her only attribute is that she begins with the Lovely Hearts gift, granting her native Heart Shots; however, other shot types can be added if their requisite gifts are received.
