Nix Polyps

Nix Polyps is a Special thorned monster, and can only be battled in special event chapters.

Attacks/Strategy

• Nix Polyps is a two phase boss battle, taking place entirely in a series of safety bubbles moving from right to left.
• There are five types of polyps in the first phase:
  • Radial polyps, which sporadically shoot out strings of bullets in all directions
  • Sniper polyps, which shoot out 3 strings of bullets that are aimed directly at you
  • Spawner polyps, that spawn a safety bubble when killed
  • Burst polyps, which shoot out one burst of bullets
  • Laser polyps, which shoot out a laser spanning the entire length of the screen, either vertical or horizontal. This type seems to only appear after around 40% of Nix Polyps’s fear is gone.
• In the second phase, the main body of the boss itself joins the battle. She has 3 attacks:
  • Continuous bursts of vibrating bullets
  • Long strings of bullets
  • V formations of bullets aimed at the player, similar to the Void's second phase.

• During April Fools, her name was changed to Nyx Prime. This is a reference to a Warframe character of the same name.
